Indications: Treatment of edema of various origins. Especially indicated in postpartum udder edema of bovines. Diuretic treatment in toxemias.
Dosage: 0.5 ml / 20 kpv via intramuscular or subcutaneous route. The dose should be repeated after 24 hours. Via intramuscular or subcutaneous.

Composition: Each 100 ml contains:
Furosemide: 2,000 g
Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate: 0,063 g
Excipients c.s.: 100 ml
Indications:
Edemas of diverse origins, in cattle and horses.
Especially indicated in postpartum udder edema of cattle.
Administration and dosage:
The product is administered by intramuscular parenteral or subcutaneous routes. The general dose of the product is 0.5 ml per 20 kg of weight. The dose can be repeated after 24 hours. The duration of the treatment varies according to the clinical case, but in general it is sufficient to administer 2 doses with an interval of 24 hours.
Restrictions of use:
This product is not suitable for consumption horses.
Contraindications and precautions:
Possible potentiation of the nephrotoxic effect of aminoglycosides, so these antibiotics should not be administered together with furosemide. Do not exceed the maximum treatment times indicated. The electrolyte imbalances must be corrected before starting therapy with furosemide. If during the treatment signs of electrolyte imbalance were seen, this should be corrected paying attention to the sodium and potassium restitution. Furosemide can decrease serum calcium and cause tetanias in predisposed animals, and should be administered with caution in animals with a history of hypocalcemia. Treatment should be suspended in the case of progressive renal disease with increased azotemia and oliguria. Do not administer to animals with serious liver disorders.
